The Blues

Inspiration can come from strange places. I admire the dynamism of many comics, how powerful movement is conveyed with line. There is such beauty in the simple, yet nuanced shapes, curves and angles that can convey so much force and tension. I have to say it…I ‘marvel’ at comic artist’s abilities, but it’s a genre that has never interested me to draw myself. This abstraction is in the spirit of my appreciation, but is likely as close as I’ll ever get. I’ll continue to admire the genre from afar.
